U (touch) Sound Word List with the “ou” Spelling

The /u/ sound has one alternative spelling, ou, besides the usual u spelling. It is common in longer words, but rare in one-syllable words.
Only "young" and "touch" are found in this one-syllable list, but the "ou" spelling of the /u/ sound occurs frequently in multisyllable words, particularly in words ending in "ous" (nervous).
Of the 7,000 words in the database constructed from a popular children’s dictionary, two of them are one-syllable words in which the vowel sound /u/ is not spelled just "u".
