The OnTrack Reading Junior High Phonics Course consists of ten lessons, each lesson requiring ten to twenty minutes. Ideally, all of the lessons would be presented over a two or three week period early in the semester. Elements of the phonics curriculum could then be reinforced in the context of subject matter reading as the semester progressed.
